Google gives FREE Wi-Fi access to Mobile Users in India to promote G+ & YouTube

It's sometimes funny to see till what extent companies can go to publicize their product. Google has gone ahead to offer Indians Free Wi-Fi access on their mobile but it's free only for surfing Google+ and YouTube. 


To make this service available, Google has partnered with O-zone Networks who leads the market in India for free public Wi-Fi networks. O-Zone has 5,000 Wi-Fi access points across India, which include Wi-Fi access at selected outlets of Café Coffee Day, McDonalds, Café Oz, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Costa Coffee, Subway and OM Bookshop, etc. Buildings like DLF, Fortis, the Ansal Group, the Oberoi-Trident hotels, etc are also included. So remember to switch on your Wi-Fi when you visit among any of these places.

If you surf other than G+ and YouTube then you might get charged. And watching videos on YouTube if free only for 10minutes every week although surfing on G+ in unlimited. Keep this in mind.


This service will start from this weekend till the next three months only.
