Records break, smartphone become more smarter when a iPhone is launched. Such a record-breaking story happens again. A recent study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) shows that the iPhone 4S accounts for 89 percent of total iPhone sales since its debut back on October 14th in 2011, while the iPhone 4 and 3GS take up only for 7 percent and 4 percent, respectively. This shows that nine out of ten iPhone buyers prefer to buy the iPhone 4S. Apple recently announced that roughly 37million iPhones were sold during the first qurter of 2012 but they failed to show how much exactly did each of their models sold individually. But this study including the precise model wise sales breakdown also tells us that the iPhone 4S is the most popular iPhone yet. From the total 89 percent figure of iPhone 4S's, 21% were 64 gigabyte models, 34% were 32GB, and 45% were 16GB. No wonder such huge numbers and sales record has made this device the top selling smartphone easily beating Samsung who sold around 35million phones. Would you prefer buying the iPhone 4S?
