Just like Nokia had partnered with Indiatimes to launch an official online store, Samsung has done the same and introduced the new 'Samsung eStore' for the Indian market. Though the online store hasn't been announced officially, it's Live right now. A company called Savex computers limited, (national distributor for Samsung India Electronics) will be responsible for management of the online store.
Products like Mobiles, Tablets, Laptops, Netbooks and Accessories are available for now with free shipping options. Other home based products aren't a part of the online store. Payments can be done via Credit and Debit cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (for select locations). Delivery across most locations in India is an added advantage. Samsung's Indian product site has started linking to it, through its product pages. That's a good news. On further surfing, we found the website is still developing and in a Beta mode. A 24x7 Toll free customer care number is provided for your support.
The main aspect here comes is pricing. On comparing with other online stores, the prices are a bit higher. Most of the products are ‘out of stock’. Samsung is expected to duly integrate the domain, Samsung.com with its online store and make it a much better service for customers.
