LG Optimus 3D Cube is World's First Smartphone with 3D Photo/Video Editing

LG Optimus 3D Cube

LG seems to be in a rush to announce new phones ahead of Mobile World Congress 2012. First they revealed Optimus Vu, then the L-style phones L3, L5 and L7 and now we have a third one in the 3D dimension.

3D technology in smartphones hasn't been much appreciated by consumers but LG has decided to keep this fact apart and announced LG Optimus 3D Cube, a successor to the last year launched LG Optimus 3D.

A 4.3-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, dual 5-megapixel cameras, 16GB of storage and lastly a 1520mAh battery will altogether power the new feature LG has added in and that is world's first phone with 3D video/photo editing software. A first of its kind in the smartphone arena.

To top all of this, LG has trimmed down the device to 9.6mm thin right from the old 11.9mm. For now, its built-in with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and as usual a future ICS upgrade is expected soon. The device is NFC enabled making it compatible with 'LG Tag' system.

The Optimus 3D Cube is all about the 3D gimmick and LG has made sure to add it all for you but before you decide to get this one, let me tell you that it's only available for now in Korea through SK Telecom. After MWC, we hope it will be launched globally in different countries.
