ALERT! Saved Passwords on Google Chrome are visible to Anyone using Your Browser

We all have the habit of saving our passwords in order to save time but have you ever wondered whether is it safe enough to allow the browser in having your password information with itself?

The answer to my above question depends on the browser your using. If you're a Google Chrome user which now is the most used browser worldwide then your saved passwords aren't safe. All your saved passwords can be seen by any third person who has the access to your computer and decides to use Chrome for surfing the web. Not everyone's computer or laptop is completely personal and Google needs to understand that. Anyone from your house, friends or office can see your saved password in Chrome. Don't commit the mistake of saving your password in a office PC or a publicly used computer.

To understand how anyone can see your password or to delete your saved passwords, follow these steps.

Head over to the 'Options' button from the Settings icon in the Chrome browser.

On the left side under the Personal Stuff Tab, click on Manage Saved Passwords.
You'll be able to see the list of websites for whom you have saved your password. Now, as soon as you click on anyone, a small 'Show' button on the left side of the saved password turns up. Click on it and there you have your saved password visible to anyone who tries to use Google Chrome on your PC.
It's still surprising to see that Google hasn't done anything to solve this issue. A simple don't show saved passwords or a password to protect your saved passwords is a much needed option in Chrome which is missing. Be aware the next time you decide to allow your Chrome browser to Save a password. Spread the word about this issue.

iPhone 4S Picked By Nine Out Of Ten iPhone Buyers

iPhone 4S Sales Records
Records break, smartphone become more smarter when a iPhone is launched. Such a record-breaking story happens again. A recent study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) shows that the iPhone 4S accounts for 89 percent of total iPhone sales since its debut back on October 14th in 2011, while the iPhone 4 and 3GS take up only for 7 percent and 4 percent, respectively. This shows that nine out of ten iPhone buyers prefer to buy the iPhone 4S. Apple recently announced that roughly 37million iPhones were sold during the first qurter of 2012 but they failed to show how much exactly did each of their models sold individually. But this study including the precise model wise sales breakdown also tells us that the iPhone 4S is the most popular iPhone yet. From the total 89 percent figure of iPhone 4S's, 21% were 64 gigabyte models, 34% were 32GB, and 45% were 16GBNo wonder such huge numbers and sales record has made this device the top selling smartphone easily beating Samsung who sold around 35million phones. Would you prefer buying the iPhone 4S?

KTM Duke 200 Launched!

KTM Duke 200 India

KTM’s swashbuckling Duke 200 has been launched at an introductory price tag of Rs 1.17 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) which makes it an excellent buy for enthusiasts looking for an entry-level performance machine with looks to match.

Here in India, KTM will be backed by the sales and service might of the home-grown giant, Bajaj. To make way for the all-new Duke, Probiking outlets, spread over 30 cities, have already been converted to KTM showrooms. With an exposed trellis frame, meaty tyres, upside-down forks, an almost non-existent underslung exhaust and streetfighter bodywork - the Duke 200, unmistakably, is a KTM. This supermoto-like machine shouts aggression from every inch of its bodywork. The eyeball grabbing bit is the snazzy black and orange paint scheme – a KTM trademark.

The Duke comes with a single-cylinder, 200cc engine. This 4-stroke unit is fairly modern; featuring fuel-injection and four valves per cylinder. It churns out 25bhp of power @10,000rpm and 1.99kgm of torque@ 8000rpm. But here’s the best bit – the featherlite Duke weighs just 137kgs (much less than its rivals) so we expect it go like stink. KTM claims a 0-60km/h time of 3.33 seconds which is quite impressive. What's also equally impressive is the introductory price tag of Rs 1.17 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda CBR 250R, on the other hand, starts at Rs 1.45 Lakh. With bookings set to open from February 1, this little orange monster is sure to set sales charts on fire.

Website Made For Superstar Rajnikanth Runs Without Internet. It Really Does.

Rajnikanth website

Yes! It's not a joke. South Superstar Rajnikanth who we all know can do the impossible, whose jokes are more viral than C.I.D's jokes, now has a special dedicated website named as www.allaboutrajni.com which apparently can run without Internet connection and the only way to enter the site is to switch off your net.

The home screen sports a sparkling colorful design, timid Rajnikanth holding a gun, south thematic music and a welcome message that says 'HE IS NO ORDINARY MAN. THIS IS NO ORDINARY WEBSITE'.

As soon as you switch off your Internet you will be able to enter the site and get a glimpse of Rajnikanth's journey from the beginning, get news updates about his upcoming films and you can watch behind-the-scenes action and of-course all the famous jokes can be read here. If you act smart and decide to turn on the internet a humorous message will pop up saying - Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet

The credit for this initiative goes to webchutney who developed this microsite for desimartini.com"The unbelievable spectacle of running a website without the internet is a tribute to Rajinikant's larger than life image," said Webchutney's creative director Gurbaksh Singh.

We enjoyed roaming around the website. Now, it's your turn!

First Look: New Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire

After much anticipation and a fair amount of blood and sweat, Maruti Suzuki is ready with the new Swift Dzire - their first stab at the sub-four metre saloon category. This, coupled with the engine size allows the new Dzire to fall under sub-four metre norm that attracts less excise duty on cars, thus bringing down the overall cost. The 2nd generation Dzire is completely different from the car it replaces; its 25mm shorter, 5mm wider and with a wheelbase that is 40mm longer than the current Dzire. The good news here is that the new car looks a million times better than it did when it was first launched a few years ago. The current design looks totally out of place from just about every angle. The front end and back end of the current Dzire look like they were styled by two different design teams that were mad at each other. However, gone are the ungainly curves and bulges, the tail-section now has been well matched with the rest of the car which basically is the Swift hatchback. The added mass of the boot is quite short, which makes the new Dzire look more like a notchback than a proper saloon car.

It’s the same story inside when it comes to interior design; the cabin is straight off the new Swift hatch, the design of the dashboard as well as the seats is from the hatchback. The only difference is, in the Dzire, beige plastics and materials have been used in places. Chauffeur driven owners will appreciate the fact that there’s more space in the back seat compared to the current Dzire. Boot space on the other hand, at 316 litres, is a whole size down on the outgoing model. Moreover, this new model carries a long equipment list; Dual SRS airbags, ABS, EBD wit brake assist, climate control, steering-mounted audio controls – to name a few. Under the hood, the new Dzire is powered by K12M VVT 1.2-litre petrol engine which puts out 85bhp @6000 rpm and 11.6kgm of torque at 4000 rpm. The other option is the 1.3 litre DDiS diesel motor producing 74bhp @4000 rpm with 19.37kgm of torque @2000 rpm. Maruti will also offer a 4-speed automatic gearbox though it will be available only with the petrol-powered version in VXI trim. Maruti Suzuki will reveal the prices on February 1, at the time of actual launch but we expect it to cost just about the same as the current Swift Dzire (Rs 5.5-7.5 Lakh bracket).

All in all, the new Swift Dzire is one car that's hard to fault. It looks way better than its predecessor, the interior design has a nice, airy feel to it with good plastics all-around and the new Dzire is slightly roomier as well. The engine options provide sufficient grunt for some spirited driving and what's more; being a Maruti, its owners will also be at peace with respect to ease of maintenance and low cost of ownership.
