Alienware's famous for building the world's best gaming machines. Now a subsidiary of Dell since last 5years, the company has announced a new gaming PC named the 'X51' that can easily orient itself vertically or horizontally on the desktop. The Alienware logo will also rotate properly with it depending on the position. The X51 is the smallest PC to come out from Alienware till date and looks monstrous and edgy as always. Apart from the options of either a Core i3 or a i5 processor, there's also an option for a Blu-ray drive and as soon as you connect it with a 7.1 surround sound, a home theatre experience is ready for you.
NVIDIA GeForce GT or GTX class graphics cards with an option for 8GB RAM & a 1TB hard drive are included. There's also Wireless-N technology for easy internet access, HDMI 1.4 for connecting to 3D TVs and watching 3D Blu-ray content and lastly a USB 3.0 for blazing fast data transfer. In true Alienware fashion, the lights can be customized with 3-color options to choose. The X51 has the Alienware Command Center that gives access to exclusive Alienware applications like AlienFX for lighting effects, AlienFusion for power management system and AlienAdrenaline which enables gamers to create unique profiles to launch a series of events when activated.
It's available now on Dell.com and Alienware.com with a starting price of $699 USD and will increase gradually on customizing configuration. Alienware Gaming Services is available in the U.S. and Canada for time being.
