Nokia's Asha 303 gets launched in India for Rs.8899

First announced back at Nokia World 2011, the Asha 303 gets launched for the Indian market on Monday. Made for the low-budget section, the smartphone has been priced at Rs.8899 and packs-in decent features for the price. 


Symbian lovers might get happy to know that this one will run on Symbian Series 40 OS. Built for the Nokia Touch and Type segment, it has a 1Ghz processor, 2.6 inch display with a full QWERTY below, 170 MB of internal memory and a rear 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera. All much-needed connectivity options are bundled in with 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and USB 2.0 with USB-on-the-go support as well.


Nokia Asha 303 will come with pre-loaded apps and games, like Angry Birds Lite, Mobile TV with Zenga TV, WhatsApp, along with DRM-free Nokia Music Unlimited service. The phone is available in red and graphite colors. Vodafone India is offering 1GB of 3G/2G data per month for 4 months free as a part of the deal.
