Audi has launched yet another sports-car, the iconic TT, to add to its impressive lineup that includes the RS5, the R8 supercar and the R8 Spyder.
The new TT, currently in its 2nd generation, comes with a 2.0 TFSI engine that makes around 215bhp @ 6,000rpm and 350Nm of torque @ 1,600rpm, all of which allow for some mighty performance figures - the car goes from 0-100kph in just over 5.5 seconds. Power is put down via S-tronic twin-clutch gearbox to all the four wheels. Yes, the permanent 4WD or Quattro is standard on the 2.0 TFSI version as well.
The new TT goes on sale in June this year with a price-tag of Rs 48.36 lakh (ex-showroom) Audi has released the prices considering the 15% rise in customs duty in the recent Budget for 2012-13. The car will be sold as a CBU (completely built unit) and will be fully imported.
