Pixels do matter and LG wants lots of them to fit in your hands. What you're looking at is world's first 5-inch full HD LCD display manufactured by LG. It's been powered by Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching (AH-IPS) technology. With a whopping 440 ppi, this display has more pixels per inch than any other smartphone on this planet.
The smartphone market has just begun with 720p displays as a standard requirement and now we have this new bar raiser. Forget the Retina display of iPhone 4S or Super AMOLED's on the Samsung's Galaxies. This 1920x1080 display beats them all. It has been scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2012.
