Every company is going app frenzy. Mumbai based 'Loop Mobile' has launched their own mobile application store with over 10,000 apps to download, ranging for different mobile platforms like Symbian, Android, Blackberry and Java. The offer is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. Apart from FREE apps, paid apps are priced from Rs.10 to Rs.150. Local providers like Hungama, India Games and Nazara, Spice will also feature their apps. The App store will showcase the apps to the users based on their devices. Loop already has a database of 4000 handsets covered up for this store. One can also search for apps or else browse through different types likes Games, Utility, Lifestyle and of-course social networking. Usability and compatibility will depend on the handset and an active GPRS connection is needed. Here's how you can access the app store:
Step 1 - Send 'Apps' to 50505 ⁄ 50800 or the same can also be accessed from the @cafe
